The basic concept of the building set up in 1890 as a manorial apartment house includes a front buliding and two adjoining side wings.
From 1989 to 1991 the building, constructed in a „Reiß"-clinker format, was entirely gutted and rebuilt to the greatest possible extent.
The back area comprises a ligth-flooded patio laid out like a park with a Japanese garden at the centre surrounded on all sides by a winter garden.
