Hopfen-Burg - Hopfensack 19
Hopfensack 19, 20457 Hamburg
In April 2013 TETRIS acquired the 6-storey listed monument "Hopfenburg". It is located in the traditional Kontorhaus quarter where you find historic office buildings, between the historic Speicherstadt and the city centre (Hamburg-Altstadt).
The semi-detached property was constructed around 1900 as a storage and brewery building, and then rebuilt several times; in the nineties of the past century an additional upper set-back storey with a barrel-shaped roof was added.
In 2009 it was almost completely gutted, refurbished and redeveloped, creating an indoor experience behind the historic façade that enables modern working in loft-like spaces, accompanied by a view extending in parts to the Hafencity. The entrance was given a new, prestigious appearance.
The office spaces of approximately 115 m² to approximately 325 m² are reached via the historic stairs and the elevator.
The subway station "Meßberg" (U1) is less than 100 meters away. The city hall, Mönckebergstraße and the Inner Alster Lake are within walking distance.
Year of construction: around 1900 - complete refurbishment in 2009
Total floor space: approximately 2,300 m² of usable space consisting of one basement, one ground floor, five upper storeys and one upper set-back storey
